NAZI REINFORCEMENTS

A special correspondent on the Western Desert says that within recent hours the Germans have’ put in action strong reinforcements of planes. To meet this challenge the Royal Air Force lias intensified its offensive.
Strong formations ' of Blenheim bombers raided enemy lines in the Tobruk area yesterday. No opposition by fighters or ground defences was encountered and the raid was considered highly satisfactory. Off the coast of Cyrenaica, 12 Hurricanes piloted by South Africans attacked a superior force of enemy fighters and bombers, several being destroyed. Others were sent crashing into the sea.
