INJURED FATALLY IN MOTOR ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph—Pres? Association.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. Mr J. Steel, a former All Black footballer, was fatally injured in a motor accident at South Beach. Early this morning, with a companion, Mr Charles Jones, he was found in a creek. Mr Steel was dead. Mr Jones was seriously injured and taken to hospital. Mr Steel who was aged 40, is survived by a widow and six children.
