TERRITORIAL FORCE

TRAINING OF MARRIED MEN.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS.

Married men up to 45 years of age, with two or three children, are invited to volunteer for Territorial training. Men who so volunteer will require to undergo a three months’ intensive training course as soon as possible. It is pointed out that there are many vacancies in the Territorial force for n.c.o’s., owing to the personnel being heavily drawn upon in overseas ballots and on account of the recent reorganisation of the Hawke's Bay Regiment. Married men volunteering for service, it is stated, could very well fill these vacancies.

Applicants should enlist at the Masterton Defence Office.
