Miss M. Price (Masterton) is visiting Auckland. Mrs R. Groves, of Makomako, has returned home from a holiday spent in Wanganui. Her Majesty the Queen will celebrate her forty-first birthday today. As Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon she married the King, who was then Duke of York, on April 26, 1923. Mrs M. L. H. Coghill, Wanganui, was a visitor to Hawke’s Bay for the wedding on Saturday on her son, Mr Dennis Robertshaw and Miss Betty Coleman. She is the guest of Mrs J. C. Bolton, Woodville. .„ A large party of local residents and visitors congregated at the residence of Mr and Mrs C. Braggins, Cornwall Street, Masterton, on Saturday evening to celebrate the 83rd birthday of Mrs E. A. Braggins, of Dixon Street, Masterton. The visitors included a number from Wellington. A most enjoyable time was spent and felicitations were extended to the guest of honour, who enjoys good health.
