TRADE SUSPENDED
JAPAN AND PANAMA. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 31. The Commerce Department announced today that Japan has suspended trade with the Panama Republic since the United States has not permitted Japanese ships to traverse the canal, ostensibly because of canal repairs.
