OF ITALIAN EAST AFRICA OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT IN BRITAIN. RESUMPTION OF TRADE AUTHORISED. (British Official Wifeless.) (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) RUGBY, July 30. The first announcement that the whole of the Italian East African Empire has now been conquered has been made by Mr Eden (Foreign Secretary) and the War Office. They state that “the whole of the territories formerly known as Italian East Africa are now in occupation by His Majesty’s forces. The Board of Trade has accordingly issued an order authorising a resumption of trade with persons within this area.”
