IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT To All Housewives! Commencing on Friday, August 1. H. B. Thomas, Masterton’s Loading Butcher, is inaugurating a complete new service as follows: — (a) FIRST GRADE PRIME QUALITY MEAT AT LESS COST. (b) NO DELIVERY SERVICE. This change is brought about through increasing costs of delivery, and as it is our desire to supply only the best to our customers at the lowest possible price, it has been decided to curtail deliveries. This will mean that the savings effected by us will be passed on to ■ the public in the cost of meat over the counter. Further, the housewife will be able to choose her own meat personally, instead of relying on the delivery man to choose for her. By buying your meat here you will not only be doing us a service, but you will be assisting Now Zealand’s war effort through the tremendous savings of petrol we will be able to make, but remember, without quality there is no true economy, so buy your quality meat at less cost from the butcher who has always served only the best —H. B. Thomas, right next to the Prince of Wales Hotel, Masterton.
