DEATH FROM WOUND
VICTIM OF HOTEL TRAGEDY IN AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The death occurred in the Auckland Hospital at 2.30 this morning of Mrs Kathleen Josephine Rolfe, a machinist, aged 36, victim of the private hotel tragedy on Monday evening, when her husband died from revolver wounds, allegedly self-inflicted and Mrs Rolfe was taken to hospital in a very serious condition. The patient was given the closest medical attention, but her condition became critical early yesterday morning and she died this morning without regaining consciousness. The medical report to the police states that the cause of death was shock, following on a bullet wound behind the left shoulder.
