FUEL SHORTAGE
EXTREMELY SERIOUS IN EIRE. HEAVY CUT IN TRAIN SERVICES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 23. The fuel shortage in Eire is so serious that railways have announced from a quarter to a one-third cut in services. From August 6, Dublin’s suburban trains are not to run between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The last train is to run at C. 40 p.m. Branch lines are providing one train each way daily.
