REVIEW AT END OF YEAR. STATEMENT BY MR NASH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. “Fifty per cent is being issued now and the whole thing will be reconsidered at the end of 1941,” said the Minister of Customs, Mr Nash, when asked yesterday if the 50 per cent import allocations compared with the 1940 figures were fixed and final. The Minister said that decisions made when the position was reviewed at the encl of the year would depend on a variety of factors, including whether the goods, the ships and the funds were available.
