CZECH GOVERNMENT
RECOGNISED BY BRITAIN. PROPOSED APPOINTMENTS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.40 a.m.) RUGBY, July 23. The Foreign Minister, Mr Anthony Eden, announced in the House of Commons today that the British Government had informed the Czechoslovakian Foreign Minister on July 18 that it now recognised the Czechoslovak Government. Mr Eden added that it had been decided to accredit an Envoy Extraordinary and a Minister Plenipotentiary to the President of the Czechoslovokia Republic.
