HEAVY FIGHTING
AND NO ESSENTIAL CHANGE IN POSITIONS. REPORTED IN RUSSIAN ' COMMUNIQUE. (Received This Day, 1.25 p.m.) LONDON, July 22. A Russian night communique reports heavy fighting in the Petrozavodsk, Pcrkhov, Smolensk and Jitomir sectors. There are no essential changes in positions along the front.
