TWO-PIECE MOTIF

Bold prints and brave colours for evenings and a two-piece'motif is very important this year. Ellen Drew, the film star, picked this unusual dinner dress because of its so-becoming draped lines and unusual colours. The full crepe skirt has a brilliant geometric design in tones of green and rust on white against a black background, and the long-waisted, fitted bodice of jersey in a deep red-rust, broad through the shoulders, and high-necked. A tri-cor-nered scarf of the print completes the costume.
