RESCUED SEAMEN

PICKED UP BY SPANISH TRAWLER. MADRID, July 22. After 20 days in an open boat before being picked up, 25 survivors of a British merchantman were landed at Vigo from a Spanish trawler. The crew totalled 164. The others took to the boats, but their fate is unknown. The ship was voyaging between Hull and Gibraltar. MORE SURVIVORS. (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) MADRID, July 22. An additional 32 survivors from the British merchantman mentioned in an earlier message have arrived at Corunna in a French sailing ship. It is understood that the merchantman carried members of the crews of other British vessels sunk in the Atlantic. It is believed that all were saved.
