INCREASES IN AMERICAN OUTPUT.

(Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, July 21.

The Washington correspondent of the Associated Press of America says that the gains during the first six months of 1941 in the output of combat planes has been far greater than is indicated by the announced increases in the manufacture of all types of aircraft. Two-engined bombers gained 92 percent, one-engine dive and torpedo bombers 146 per cent, and pursuit, observation and other military aircraft 142 per cent.
