WASTE PAPER

COLLECTION IN MASTERTON. DONATION OF ONE TON. There has been an excellent response to the appeal made to the people of Masterton and surrounding districts for waste paper. Mr D. Buchanan has donaed one ton of waste paper, and other amounts are being received every day. The work of sorting and baling the paper ready for shipment is under way in the depot opposite the Public Trust Office. Mr G. M. Ross is in charge of the work, and is being assisted by Scouts from the St. Matthew's troop. Paper may be left at petrol stations and garages, but it would be more convenient if donors would take their contributions to the central depot. The key to the storeroom can be obtained from Mr C. C. Ross and Co.’s office, which is adjacent to the store.
