WEEKEND GAMES MAHUNGA CLUB. NET AGGREGATE COMPETITION. The third round of the net aggregate competition was played in conjunction with a medal round by the Mahunga Club on Saturday, the best net scores being as follow: —C. M. Walker, 70; H. Wehipeihana, L.. T. Wylie, M. Thornton, O. V. Berry, JCorbishley, C. Ransom, K. J. Rew, 71; N. Bach, R. B. McPherson, 72. The following matches for the captain’s trophy 7 were also decided during the weekend: —C. A. Carrig beat G. R. Ward; J. Corbishley beat P. Hawksworth; C. M. Walker beat L. T. Wylie. LADIES’ GAMES. The third round of the net aggregate competition was played on Saturday, the following being the best scores:— Miss R. Robinson 66 net, Miss U. Holtham 74 net. Miss W. Reed 77 net. RIVERSIDE CAPTAIN’S TROPHY COMPETITION. The third bogey round, played on Saturday afternoon by members of the Riverside Golf Club, completed the captains’ trophy competition, the best cards being:— Ladies: Mrs Rawlins 5 down, Mrs Palamontain 5 d., Mrs Nancarrow 6 d. This result places Mrs Rawlins in the winning position. ' Men: N. Everett 1 up, G. Challis all square, A. McKenzie and R. Leathern 1 down, the winner of the men’s section being N. Everett. Further championship matches played since last week-end are: — Ladies. —Intermediate: Miss K. Dixon beat Mrs Clarke, Mrs Pool beat Mrs Brown, Mrs Naan a bye, Mrs Palamontain beat Mrs Jones. Juniors: Mrs Blatchford beat Miss Moreland, Mrs Haughey a bye, Mrs Skeet beat Mrs Emery, Mrs Cross beat Mrs Nancarrow. Men. —Senior: R. Wearne beat M. A. Rawlins. Intermediate: S. Onion beat C. Leigh, R. Hatch beat V. Jones. Junior: R. Leathern beat J. Connell, B. Braggins beat R. Castles, H. Bannister beat H. .Guy by default. A friendly bowling match is being arranged between the Indoor Bowling Club and members of the Riverside Golf Club, to take place on Wednesday, July 30, at the Foresters’ Hall. Several more players are required. MASTERTON STABLEFORD COMPETITION. A stableford competition played by members of the Masterton Golf Club on Saturday resulted: — A Grade. —E. Henderson 35, C. Campbell Heard 32, W. H. Saunders 32. B Grade.—J. C. Forsyth 34, W. V. Buick 33, H. B. Berney 31, J. G. Bee 30.
