FIGHTING FORCES
$ JOINT COMMITTEE SET UP IN BRITAIN. TO DEAL WITH QUESTIONS OF WELFARE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, July 20. The Admiralty, the War Office and the Air Ministry have set up jointly a Services Committee, for the welfare of the forces. The committee will consider questions affecting the welfare of the fighting forces and the women’s auxiliary services and that of their families, including such questions as recreation, travelling facilities and canteens. It is intended to pool the resources of the services for these purposes as much as possible.
