WOMEN’S DIVISION CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. OFFICERS ELECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The outstanding event of yesterday’s conference session of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union in Wellington was the election of officers. Mrs Noel P. Adams was elected Dominion president for the third successive year, and the new Dominion treasurer is Mrs H. McLeavey, who succeeds Mrs C. C. Jackson. Mrs Jackson received a presentation from the members in recognition of her faithful service i’or many years. Vice-presidents were elected as follows: —Mrs C. K. Wilson, Pio Pio; Mrs W. H. Lane, Kaeo; Mrs G. Lamplough, Stratford; Mrs W. H. Elliott, Clarendon. Otago; Mrs B. E. Evans, Maingati; and Mrs W. B. Orr, Balfour, Southland. The advisory board comprises Mrs F. Ryburn, South Auckland; Mrs J. H. Joll, Hastings; Mrs E. R. Black, Gisborne; Mrs H. A. Nutt, Canterbury; Mrs J. R. Haldane, Golden Bay; Mrs N. Macintosh, Invercargill. Members of the finance committee are Mrs T. B. McNeil, Wellington, Mrs E. S. Milne, Lower Hutt, Mrs Preshan, Wellington, and Mrs W. F. Field, Palmerston North.
