MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Masterton County Council, held on TUESDAY, the Bth day of July, 1941, the following Resolution was passed: — “THAT in Pursuance and in Exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 131, sub-section (4) of “The Counties Act, 1920,” the Masterton County Council resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — The cost of repairing and/or restoring damage occasioned to Roads and Bridges by floods in any of the respective Ridings of the County shall be apportioned in the manner following:— (a) The cost of such work in any Riding up to an amount of Two Hundred Pounds (£200) shall be charged to the Separate Account of that particular Riding. (b) -Where the cost of any such work in any Riding exceeds the sum of Two Hundred Pounds (£200), the amount by which such cost so exceeds the said sum of Two Hundred Pounds (£200) shall be borne by the whole County.” AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the above Special Order will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Chapel Street, Masterton, at 2 p.m. on TUESDAY, the 12th day of August, 1941.
