COURSING

ARCHER CUP & CHALLENGE MATCH. On Saturday afternoon the Wairarapa Coursing Club’s fourth meeting of the season will be held at the Akura Plumpton. A challenge match will be held./ It will be a knock-out competition and the dog winning the stake will win the banner for the club it represents. A full list of 16 dogs will be matched in this event. The Archer Cup contest will no doubt draw a full nomination as this trophy is much prized by local owners. White Lie, last season’s winner, will no doubt defend the cup for her owner, Mr W. L. Jensen.
