Lincoln Road, Masterton, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs H. O. Toogood. Pownall Street, left Masterton last week on a visit to Melbourne. Mrs W. R. Hunter, Coradine Street, Masterton. has returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss Eva Card, Featherston, and Miss Jessie McKenzie, Masterton, are visiting Wellington. Mrs C. Monro, King Edward Street, Lansdowne, who has been visiting Auckland, has returned to Masterton. Mrs F. B. Lowes, Mangaone, Mrs George, Alfredton, Miss A. Anderson, Eketahuna, and Miss Gray, Masterton, are delegates to the W.D.F.U. conference in Wellington. The Matron of Masterton Hospital, Miss H. D. Grant, reported to the meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board today, that Nurses Cole, M. Nix, Cruickshank, Heycler and Tinkham had been successful candidates in the recent Junior State nursing examinations. Nurse Riddiford had gained a partial pass. Miss Grant congratulated the nurses on their success.
