IMPORTANT STEP

AGREEMENT WITH SOVIET DOMINIONS CONSULTED. UNITED STATES ALSO KEPT INFORMED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. It is learned that the Dominions have been kept fully informed throughout the negotiations preceding the signing of the Anglo-Russian agreement and that the step taken in consultation has their full approval. The United States was also kept informed. A Moscow message says toasts were drunk in champagne at a function to mark the signing of the agreement. M. Stalin conversed with the guests. Commenting on the agreement, the Berlin News Agency says a united anti-European front between English plutocracy and Russian Bolshevism is now openly demonstrated. Events have fortunately gone so far that the destruction of both cannot be doubted.
