The route to Moscow has been opened up, there are lio further natural or artificial barriers and supply lines are assured for the Panzer divisions. Victory against Bolshevism has become a beautiful certainty. A German High Command communique claims that the centre of the German offensive was advanced 125 miles east of Minsk on Sunday. “The Times” Moscow correspondent says that while a battle is raging a few hundred miles away, the city is strangely calm and serene.
