Frost, .2 degrees. Miss Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Barograph, 30.33. Shade temperature: Maximum 50.8, minimum 25.5, terrestrial 17.5. Sunshine, 6 hours 42 minutes. Frost, 12.9 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 9 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. Last quarter, July 16, 8.7 p.m.; new moon, July 24, 7.39 p.m. SUN. The sun rose today 7.43 a.m.. sets 5.10 p.m.
