YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB
ADDRESSES ON HANDLING OF WOOL. INSTRUCTOR VISITING DISTRICT. A series of lectures of great interest to old as well as young farmers is to be held in different centres throughout the Wairarapa next week, when a visit has been arranged by the local Yeung Farmers’ Clubs of Mr J. E. Duncan, wool instructor of the Department of Agriculture. In addition to addressing clubs on various matters of importance'relating to the preparation of the wool clip under war time conditions, Mr Duncan will be showing a talking picture film entitled “The Story of Wool.” This, film was produced by the International Wool Secretariat and promises to provide fare of unusual interest for local woolgrowers. The lectures will be given at Carterton, Tinui, Alfredton, Masterton and Martinborough in that order each night next week and the local Young Farmers’ clubs who are arranging the visit will be very pleased to welcome all interested to' the meetings.
