EKETAHUNA SALE. RECENT RATES MAINTAINED. The Associated Auctioneers report as follows on their weekly sale, held at Eketahuna yesterday:—A small entry of sheep, cattle and pigs came forward. Practically a total clearance was effected at auction at recent market rates. The following were the prices:— Sheep.—2-tooth ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 24s lOd; 4 and 5-year ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 16s 7d; aged ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 12s 9d. Cattle. —Good springing Holstein heifers, £9 to £10; springing cows, £8 to £8 10s; unsound cows, £4. Horses. —5-year draught gelding, £2O; aged hack, £9. Pigs. —Light porkers, 17s; sow to farrow, £3 ss.
