AMERICAN NURSES
ON WAY TO ENGLAND SIX REPORTED MISSING. FROM TORPEDOED SHIP. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.35 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 9. The American Red Cross announced today that a British vessel in which ten Red Cross nurses were going to England had been torpedoed. Six of the nurses are missing.
