The fortnightly play-reading of the Masterion Little Theatre Society was held in the Country Women's Club Rooms last evening, when Arnold Bennett's “Flora” was presented. There was an attendance of about 50. ••Flora,” which is a comedy in three acts, was read by the following: Lucian Hammylton, Mr V. Joseph: Flora Hammylton (Lucian's wife). Mrs L. T. Daniell; Alec Gabriel (an hotel director"), Mr Kent-Johnston; Clare Hammylton (Lucian’s daughter). Miss Mary McLaren; Rollo Bring (a man of means). Mr J. A. Kennedy; Miss Jebb (secretary to Flora), Simmons (a servant), Miss June Yelverton; Carmelita (a dancer), Miss I. Grant; Ramire (a dancer), Francisque (a maitre d’holel). Mr H. H. Daniell. On July 23 “Sheppey” will be read.
