EXPELLED FROM UNITED STATES. BRITAIN READY TO GRANT SAFE CONDUCT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 8. The Assistant Secretary of State, Mr Sumner Welles, has announced that Britain had agreed in principle to granting safe conduct to Axis Consular officers ordered to leave America.
