Mrs Colin Deans, Taueru, is visiting Wellington. The Misses Dakin, Lansdowne, are staying at Paekakariki. Mr and Mrs B. Kingdon, Waingawa, have returned from a visit to Feilding.
Miss Kane, Paremata, has been spending a few days with Mrs Robert Miller, Kopuaranga.
Mrs C. T. Richardson. The Terrace, Lansdowne, is visiting her daughter, Mrs R. Hardie, Feilding.
Mrs Gordon Grylls, South Island, is staying with her mother, Mrs N. H. James, Pownall Street, Masterton. The death has occurred in Hastings of Mrs Jane Ebbett, aged 68. widow of the late Mr Joseph Ebbett, who was well known in farming circles in the Tikokino district.
