The Dominion president of the Plunket Society, Mrs James Begg, Dunedin, has received the following cablegram from the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser: —“I have heard with the deepest regret of the death of Miss Hoddinott. Please accept and convey to the Plunket Society my sincere sympathy in their great loss. - ’ Miss Hoddinott, whose death occurred recently, had been secretary of the Plunket Society for many years.
