CHURCH SERVICES
The services at Masterton Presbyterian Church and at Matahiwi tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. John Davie. There will be a community sing before the evening service in Masterton. s The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at all services, speaking in the morning on “The First Commandment,” and in the evening on “Unity and Peace.” The Rev. V. W. Joblin will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. In St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 2.30 p.m., a special service arranged by the Freemasons of the Wairarana will be held. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher and the service is open to the public. Major and Mrs Ransom will conduct the services at the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow. The weekly service conducted by the Masterton Baptist Fellowship will be held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms tomorrow at 11 a.m., when the Rev. J. T. Beilby, of Island Bay, will be the preacher. The Sunday School and Bible Class meet at 10 a.m. On Thursday evening, at 7.30 p.m., a special meeting will be held. The services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject at the morning service will be “Victory over fear.” The evening service will be followed by the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. There will be an afternoon service at Wangaehu. Mr C. R. Goudge will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The speaker at the Church of Christ service tomorrow will be Mr. M. Vickery.
