In a contest at the Stadium last night, over fifteen rounds, for the Australian lightweight title, Vic Patrick. 9st 71b, defeated Tod Morgan, 9st 91b, on points. There was considerable interest in the contest and a big crowd witnessed a gruelling contest, in which both boxers took very severe punishment. The decision was unpopular.
