Mrs B. L. Burch, Martinborough, is visiting Napier. Mr and Mrs and Miss Barber were Masterton visitors to Napier. Mrs G. L. Sievers, of Martinborough, is visiting Hastings. Misses E. and N. Moynihan have returned to Pongaroa from a holiday spent in the South Island. Mrs V. E. Donald, Lansdowne, Masterton, has returned from Dannevirke, where she was the guest of Mrs C. J. Hansard. A quiet wedding took place recently in the Methodist Church, Foxton, when Madge Eva, daughter of Mr and Mrs Leach, Pongaroa, was married to Baden Lewis, son of Mr and Mrs F. C. Cunningham, Dannevirke. The bridesmaid, was Miss Doris Leach, arid Mr C. E. Correy, Foxton, was best man.
