The stock market have enjoyed their brightest week for a long time past. British funds reached a new postMunich high level. Some of the leading stocks are at their highest since 1937. The City's hopeful view of Russian war reports, together with the news from Japan regarding a possible re-Orientation of Japanese policy, and continued talk of a fresh loan, have stimulated an upward movement.
