BRIEF VISIT TO MASTERTON. SCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN BUSINESS. An informal visit to Masterton was made today by the Minister of Education. tile Hon. H. G. R. Mason, to discuss school and kindergarten matters. Mr Mason, accompanied by the member for Masterton, Mr J. Robertson. inspected the West School grounds this afternoon with a view to estimating the improvements required. Members of the school committee were present.

Later, Mr Mason mot the Masterton West Kindergarten Commitl.ee, who made representations to him regarding the erection of a kindergarten in the State settlement area.
