MEAT PRODUCERS BOARD
PRODUCERS REPRESENTATIVES. NOMINATIONS FOR VACANCIES. The Returning Officer announces that he has received the following nominations for the three vacancies for Producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers Board: —H. D. Acland (sitting member) Christchurch; I. L. M. Coop, Ataahua, Canterbury: L. E. Harris, Napier; L. Maclean (sitting member) Hastings; H. E. Worsp (sitting member) Whangarei. The election will take place on August 29, when the delegates who will be elected to represent the various districts throughout the Dominion and who will constitute the electoral committee, will assemble in Wellington to consider the nineteenth annual report and statement of accounts of the Board and to elect the three producers’ representatives on. the Board. Nominations for delegates to the electoral committee will close at the Board’s office at noon on July 4, and a postal ballot will then be conducted amongst the sheepfarmers in the districts where the nominations are in excess of the number of delegates requited.
