Miss Isa Vincent, of Masterton. is ihe guest of Mrs G. Hunt, Auckland. Mrs Holmes, Masterton, is visiting Hastings. Mrs J. Riddell has returned to Pon-1 garoa after a holiday spent in Welling-) ton. Miss B. Parry, Wairarapa, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs G. H. Humphreys, Palmerston North. Miss Yula Wilson, of Upper Plain, has been successful in passing the N.Z. Junior State Nurses’ examination. Miss Wilson is training at the Palmerston North Public Hospital. Aged 57 years. Mrs Lucy Runciman. wife of Mr A. J. C. Runciman. died suddenly at Hastings. Born in Dunedin, she was Miss Lucy Mac Lean before her marriage in 1909. She and her husband made their first home in Dannevirke, where Mrs Runciman was mayoress for six years. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs Wallace Simmons, Dannevirke, and a son, Allan Runciman, Wellington.
