HARRIER ACTIVITIES

MASTERTON CLUB INVITATION RUNS ON SATURDAY. TO BE HELD AT UPPER PLAIN. On Saturday members of the Masterton Harrier. Club will journey to Mr and Mrs Roy Shaw’s residence, Upper Plain, from which an open handicap event will be held for the juniors and a friendly run for the seniors. In connection with the junior race points will count for the place-getters towards the cup donated by Mr J. Robertson, M.P., for junior competition. Members are asked to be at the Post Office corner at 2 o'clock sharp for transport to Upper Plain. - The following handicaps for ■ the I junior open handicap race have been declared by the handicapper: —M. Doyle, scr.; P. Greenlees, 20secs.; D. Wickens. train. lOsecs.: D. Cairns, 1.30; K. Cairns. 2.30: W. Grant. 2.50.
