NAZI PLANES

NINETEEN DESTROYED YESTERDAY IN BRITISH OFFENSIVE SWEEP. BAG OF 114 IN SEVEN DAYS. LONDON. June 23. As the result of a second offensive sweep by the R.A.F. over Occupied France this evening at least 12 more German planes were shot down, making the total for the day at least 19. Four British planes, including two bombers, were lost. This brings the total enemy losses for the last seven days, in offensive sweeps by the R.A.F., to 114, as compared with 31 British planes lost.
