WARSAW GHETTO
All the Jewish population of Warsaw has been driven into the ghetto, and all the Polish population living within, its bounds turned out, unlike Lodz where a number of Poles remained in the ghetto and are now not allowed to transfer. In the case of mixed marriages couples either have to separate or both go to the ghetto, though some have managed to get out of this situation. There is no fixed definition of Jewish origin, and sometimes families are traced back for several generations. The executive organs are quite arbitrary and evict people from the best dwellings on the pretext that they are Jews, in order to ransack and requisition their homes. People have been driven into the ghetto who had not a drop of Jewish blood in their veins. By the time they were able to provctliis their flats and homes had gone.
