SUCCESSFUL DANCE

e ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE’S EFFORT. GATHERING AT MASONIC HALL. The dance held by the St. John Ambulance Brigade in the Masonic Hall Masterton, on Saturday night proved most successful. There was a large attendance. The floor was in splendid order, and the music was supplied by Mr Jack Barnes's orchestra. Extras were played by Messrs D. Kuri and, T. Te Huki. Novelty dances were held. A Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Miss D. Brett and Mr B. Frew. A Lucky Spot competition was won by Miss M. Gillenson and Leading Aircraftman G. Fussell. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr C. S. McQuade, and proceedings went with a swing. Supper was served by the committee.
