ENGLISH-SPEAKING UNION ADVOCATED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LOS ANGELES. June 18. Sir Victor Sassoon, who is en route to Shanghai, today said that a world federation of democracies, with Britain. Australia and Canada becoming part of the United States, was essential. "There is another way to stop Hitler. ... It is now so obvious to the world's business men that a Federal alliance is necessary that it hardly bears discussion." he said. "England must come into the democracy of the United States with the full right of Statehood. It is also obviqus that England must give up her traditions and institutions of Government.”
