AMERICANS TO HELP
VOLUNTEERS FOR DETECTOR SERVICE. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON. June 19. Air Commodore George Pirie, of the R.A.F., announced the opening of offices in New York to arrange for thousands of American volunteers to go to Britain to help operate Britain’s aircraft detectors. Applications are being received from suitable technicians between the ages of 18 and 50, who will receive attractive remuneration.
