BUSH FOOTBALL POSITIONS OF TEAMS. (“Times-Age" Special.) The positions of the teams at the end of the first round of the Bush Rugby Union's senior and third grade competitions are as follow; —Senior: Mangalainoka 7. Hamua 6. Konini 3. Woodville 2, Hukanui 2. Third grade: Athletic 8. Mangatainoka 7. Nireaha 6. Woodville 4, Hukanui 3, Pahiatua 0.

BUSH BASKETBALL SEASON’S FIXTURES. The following are the fixtures for the first and only found, of the Bush Basketball Association. Owing to the difficulty in procuring the use of the Drill Flail the committee has decided to play only one round and the games are to take place once a fortnight—on Saturday nights. The matches will commence tomorrow night. Owing to the; number of teams competing it has been decided to cut down the time to two spells of a quarter of an hour each. Teams must be on time otherwise they will have to forfeit their game: — Stars B v Hamua, 6.45 p.m.; Konini B v’W.F.C.A., 7.15; Hukanui v Woodville. 7.45; Stars A v Eketahuna, 8.15: Konini A v Tuis, 8.45.

The other games later in the season will be: — Konini B v Hamua; Stars A v Woodville; Stars B v Konini A; Tuis v Hukanui; W.F.C.A. v Eketahuna.
