TAKEN IN SOLLUM AREA ATTACKS BY BRITISH TROOPS. FURTHER RAIDS ON BENGHAZI. LONDON, June 16. News Agency reports from Cairo state that serious fighting is now taking place on the EgyptianLibyan frontier in the Solium, Fort Capuzzo and Halfaya Pass areas. British and Indian troops have taken fresh action in this area, and considerable numbers of armoured vehicles are reported to be taking part. The action, it is stated, does not mean a large-scale attack, but is a continuation of the struggle folloxving on the withdrawal from Banghazi. Further successful raids have been made by the R.A.F. on Benghazi and other enemy bases in Libya. CAPTURES IN ABYSSINIA. In Abyssinia, an Italian general and 2000 troops have surrendered in the Lakes area. It is believed that this makes the thirtieth Italian general captured by our forces.
