MASTERTON STATION

4 GOODS SHED IMPROVEMENTS. In reply to representations he has made on the subject, the member for Masterton. Mr J. Robertson, has been informed by the Acting-Minister of Railways (Mr Nash) that on account of the goods traffic dealt with at the Masterton Railway Station having increased considerably, arjd in order to facilitate the handling of goods, it has been found'desirable to provide verandahs over the doorways of the goods shed.

In addition, it has been decided to extend the goods shcd° office by ten feet, in order to make the working conditions more comfortable for the staff.
