PRINCE BERNHARD ON GERMAN PEOPLE. LITTLE HOPE OF REBIRTH SEEN. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK. June 13. The. Boston correspondent of the "New York Times” says that Prince Bernhard of Holland, who is of German birth, in an interview said he had nothing but bitterness in his heart for his former fatherland. He declared: “The German people have gone so far wrong under the Nazis that it would bo virtually impossible for the old Germany of culture and learning to be reborn, even after the defeat of the Reich. "The Germans had their chance before Hitler came to power. Since they did not take it—since they have gone along with’ what has been done —I think they must take what is coming to them when Germany is defeated.”
