BISMARCK SINKING
SIGNIFICANCE EMPHASISED BY MR EDEN. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. June 13. Broadcasting to South America, the Foreign Secretary, Mr Eden, said that the sinking of the Bismarck in the Atlantic was most dramatic , proof that Hitler was not winning the battle of the Atlantic. Such a risk would not have been undertaken when visibility was good if submarines and planes had been achieving Hitler's hopes.
